Schaeffler Group USA Inc.’s Eric Steinbecher Appointed to AASA’s Board of Governors

President of Schaeffler’s Automotive Aftermarket division in the Americas joins AASA Board of Governors for three-year term

Valley City, OH. 2019. Global automotive and industrial supplier Schaeffler announced that Eric Steinbecher, President Automotive Aftermarket – Americas, has been appointed to the Board of Governors of the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA) for a three-year term, beginning January 3, 2019. Steinbecher’s presence on AASA’s board is expected to give Schaeffler a key role in helping to advance the interests of the North American automotive supplier industry.

Steinbecher’s extensive expertise in global strategy and business development, along with his commitment and passion to promoting growth and development in the Automotive Aftermarket, make him a valuable addition to the AASA’s Board of Governors. Steinbecher’s engagement will enable Schaeffler, as a leading partner to the automotive and commercial vehicle original-equipment and replacement parts markets in North America, to provide dynamic guidance and support to AASA in its mission to help aftermarket suppliers be more productive, innovative and competitive on a global scale.

As President Automotive Aftermarket for the Americas region, Steinbecher is responsible for Schaeffler’s automotive replacement parts business marketed under the LuK, INA, FAG and RUVILLE product brands throughout North and South America. “AASA’s mission is to advance industry and supplier business interests,” noted Steinbecher, “which dovetails perfectly with my responsibilities at Schaeffler.
